Jesse Peach is a London-based theatre director. He has directed and produced more than a dozen shows for PTC including THE HISTORY BOYS (Sydney Opera House), THE WIZARD OF OZ (The Civic), DEATH OF A SALESMAN (Maidment Theatre) and SWEENEY TODD (Maidment Theatre). He is also a freelance director, having directed THE CAPE (Centrepoint, Manuatu), and THE CANARY in development with The Pumphouse. |
Jesse has collaborated with Australasia's leading theatre makers including Emily O'Hara, Michael Hurst ONZM, Raymond Hawthorne, John Wood, Heather Mitchell, Tina Cross ONZM, Tim Chappell, Douglas Wright MNZM, Gareth Farr ONZM, Ray Columbus OBE, George Henare OBE, Lisa Chappell, John Verryt, Elizabeth Whiting, Antonia Prebble, and Robbie Magasiva.
He trained under Raymond Hawthorne and holds an ATCL in Speech and Drama from Trinity College London.
Jesse is also an established journalist, having worked extensively as a reporter for 3 News in New Zealand, and as a producer; in Australia for Sky News and Seven News, and in the UK: ITV News and 5 News.
